"First Parents" was a comission by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. "It was a bit intimidating to paint the requested subject, 'Adam and Eve with a new baby' as there is always the potential to be exclusionary. I did not take the challenge lightly and in the end focused more on trying to convey the warmth and magic of such a precious gift as a new child. Not to mention what a wonderous event this might have been for out First Parents" - JBW
